Saints Peter and Paul National Catholic Church in Passaic, New Jersey was founded in 1890 as part of the independent Catholic Church movement. “The Church on the Hill” stands on land once occupied by General George Washington and General Casimir Pulaski during the Revolutionary War, a reflection of the democratic and independent principles the parish was founded upon.
